Prism Machinery Ltd is a Specialty Machine Builder and Retro-fitter of Metal Spinning Lathes. We provide manufacturers with custom, turnkey manufacturing solutions utilizing customized CNC and PLC Automation. With complete in-house design and control cabinet capabilities, we pride ourselves on deliverying hihg-precision engineering from concept to commissioning.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design: Develop Siemens-based PLC and CNC control panels and design electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits.
- Programming: Program and optimize Siemens PLC controls and HMI software.
- Project Procurement: Create Bills of Materials (BOM) for purchasing.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and manage outsourced cabinet builders to ensure quality and timeline adherence.
- Commissioning: Lead and manage machine startups and integration.
FIELD SERVICE & CLIENT SUPPORT:
- Travel: Provide on-site installation and support for our North American client base (Estimated 10% travel within the US and Canada).
- Remote Support:
Conduct online troubleshooting and technical diagnostics with clients.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- 7+ years of proven experience in the design, building, and commissioning of mechatronic systems (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical).
- Proficiency in Siemens ladder logic, HMI software, and electrical control panel design.
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for client-facing support.
- Must be eligible for cross-border travel between Canada and the US.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
