Elite Physiotherapy & Health Centre is the flagship clinic that expanded from a parent company initially established in 1997. Being the flagship clinic , Elite Physiotherapy & Health Centre is able to offer expert services from experienced staff members in a clean, newly-renovated facility. We are currently looking for PTA-Physiotherapy Assistantwho can fill up our schedule Monday to Saturday.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assist the supervising physiotherapist in performing various components of the treatment plans for individuals living in the community
- Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, range of motion, strengthening, application of modalities.




- Maintain regular ongoing communication with the physiotherapist regarding any changes or concerns about a client's status or treatment interventions

Requirements:

- Graduate of a recognized PTA program (required)
- Experience in working within a clinic setting is preferred, but will consider general PTA experience as well
- Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-skilled team
- Outstanding focus on safety and ethical standards
- Strong ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines
- Excellent oral communication and written skills
- Proficiency with computers
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
