Overview

Movers handle household, office, and other goods with care, supporting efficient loading, transport, and delivery. The role combines physical work, safe handling practices, and clear communication with customers and teammates. Work may take place at customer locations, in vehicles, or in warehouse settings, depending on the assignment.

Duties

- Pack, load, unload, and arrange items to protect belongings and use vehicle or storage space effectively.
- Lift and carry heavy items using safe techniques and suitable equipment, including a forklift when applicable.
- Communicate respectfully with customers, confirm handling instructions, and provide helpful service throughout each move.
- Keep work areas organized and coordinate with teammates to complete moves efficiently.

Requirements

Required: Practical moving skills, safe heavy lifting, clear communication, and the ability to follow handling instructions are essential for completing moves responsibly. Preferred: Customer service ability, warehouse experience, forklift skills, and commercial driving experience are valuable strengths that can support versatile assignments and smooth coordination with customers and teammates.

Pay: $24.99-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
