Job Summary

As a Tool maker/ Machine Builder / SERVICE POSITION in St Catherines GM, you will support the building, assembly, machining, and service of tools and machines. Apply mechanical knowledge and practical shop skills to complete work accurately, interpret technical information, and help keep equipment operating reliably.

Duties

- Build, assemble, and service tools and machines using hand tools, machining, and welding.
- Operate CNC equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, and support CNC programming.
- Read schematics and use calipers and math to check dimensions and verify work.
- Use CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to support manufacturing tasks.
- Your impact: Accurate builds and service help colleagues maintain dependable equipment and production workflows.

Experience

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, hand-tool skills,



and the ability to interpret schematics, measure with calipers, and apply math during assembly, machining, and service work. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and CNC equipment supports protected, accurate task completion. Preferred: Experience with CNC programming, CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, welding, and CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is advantageous. Related tool-making, machine-building, or service experience can help you contribute effectively across varied shop tasks.

Pay: $34.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
