Job Overview

As a Persian speaking first aid instructor, you will teach practical first aid concepts in Persian, helping learners understand and apply essential information. You will guide classroom learning, explain procedures clearly, and adapt instruction to participants’ questions and learning needs. This role combines teaching, tutoring, and clear communication to support an engaging learning environment.

Duties

- Prepare and deliver first aid lessons in Persian, presenting information in an organized, accessible way.
- Demonstrate relevant procedures, guide practice, and check learners’ understanding throughout instruction.
- Tutor participants who need additional explanation and respond constructively to questions.
- Maintain an orderly classroom and adjust teaching approaches to support participation and learning.

Requirements

Required:



Must have a valid Canadian Red Cross first aid instructor certificate.

Strong communication skills in Persian and the ability to explain practical information clearly, lead instruction, respond patiently to questions, and support learners through guided practice. Teaching and tutoring capabilities are essential to delivering lessons and checking understanding.

Preferred: Classroom experience and familiarity with adapting explanations to different learning needs are advantageous. A supportive, organized approach can help create an inclusive learning setting and make first aid concepts easier for participants to understand and retain.

Pay: $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
