Duties

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and storage areas.
- Assist with food handling tasks as needed, supporting food prep stations during busy service times.
- Ensure all dishes are properly stored and organized for quick access by kitchen staff.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold sanitation standards and prevent cross-contamination.




- Support the kitchen team with light cleaning duties such as sweeping floors and disposing of waste.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes for service.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous.
- Experience working in a fast-paced setting helps you adapt quickly and stay organized under pressure.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety standards and sanitation protocols is beneficial but can be learned on the job.
