Zoel Staffing is seeking compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Homecare and Cleaning Staff to join our growing team. This role involves providing essential support to clients in their own homes, assisting with personal care, medication support, mobility assistance, and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Our goal is to promote the highest level of independence, dignity, and well-being for every client we serve.

Key Responsibilities:Personal Care Support

- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene needs.
- Support clients with mobility, positioning, and transferring, using proper moving and handling techniques and assistive devices where required.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, helping clients maintain social engagement and mental wellness.

Medication Assistance

- Support clients with medication reminders and administration (in accordance with care plans and organizational policies).
- Monitor and report any changes in client medication adherence or side effects to the care management team.

Home Cleaning and Household Management

- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Conduct appliance cleaning and maintenance (e.g., microwaves, ovens, fridges, laundry machines).
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Support clients with light meal preparation and kitchen tidying to ensure food safety.

Health and Safety

- Conduct routine safety checks within the home to identify potential hazards and report concerns promptly.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols.
- Assist clients in emergency situations and alert emergency services or care management when necessary.

Documentation and Communication





- Accurately document services provided, observations made, and tasks completed using mobile apps and care logs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and care team regarding any changes in client needs or concerns.

Qualifications:

- Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), Healthcare Aide, or equivalent (for personal care roles).
- Previous experience in homecare, elderly care, or professional cleaning services (preferred).
- Medication administration training or certification (an asset).
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Up-to-date immunizations (as required).
- Strong knowledge of moving and handling best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent

Pay: $23.07-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
