Job Summary

Bawa Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This position starts at approximately 25 hours per week, with the prospect to increase to 40 hours per week after approximately two months, based on training and performance.

The position involves cleaning and maintaining residential and commercial properties, including apartment buildings and common areas.

Schedule: 5 days per week - 5 hours a day on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. ( 0900am till 2pm)

Starting wage: $17/hour

After full training: $18.00/hourOpportunity for full-time hours: Yes

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term position and available to transition to full-time hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain apartment buildings, common areas, hallways, stairs, and other assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Clean entrances, elevators, stairways, and common areas
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Clean washrooms and other assigned areas
- Follow cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies properly
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for tenants and clients
- Report maintenance issues, damage,



or safety concerns to the supervisor
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and to a high standard
- Work independently as well as part of a team

Qualifications

- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset, but training will be provided
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Must be available to work 5 days per week
- Must be interested in transitioning to full-time hours
