Care Systems Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled HVAC Controls Designer to join our construction team in the Okanagan. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, configuring, and supporting automated control systems for commercial and industrial projects, ensuring optimal efficiency and seamless integration from design through to installation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and configure industrial automation and HVAC control systems, including system architecture and detailed documentation.
- Author, interpret, and test Sequence of Operations (SOO) logic for equipment like AHUs, chillers, boilers, and VAV systems.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, mechanical, and project teams to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Provide technical support during project turnover and commissioning walk-throughs.

What You Bring

- Education & Certifications: Diploma in Engineering Technology (Mechanical with Building Systems, Instrumentation & Control, or Electrical) OR a Red Seal Electrician / Refrigeration Technician certification backed by verified DDC field experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Automated Logic Corporation (ALC) software and the WebCTRL platform.
- Protocols & Standards:



Familiarity with communication buses (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks) and regional/electrical standards (Technical Safety BC, ASHRAE 90.1).
- Local Availability: Valid BC Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean record, and the ability to work on-site across the Okanagan Region.

Pay: $34.11-$44.23 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
