Lansky Center Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Data Center Technician to join our team in Merritt, BC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting data center infrastructure, including enterprise servers, NVIDIA GPU systems, and associated hardware.

This position requires a hands-on technician who can work independently onsite while collaborating with remote technical support teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot server hardware failures and infrastructure issues.
- Install, replace, and maintain server components, including GPUs, RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and motherboards.
- Perform hardware repairs, component replacements, and post-repair testing.
- Install, rack, move, and organize server equipment.
- Perform structured cabling, cable management, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot basic Linux and Windows operating system issues.
- Support NVIDIA GPU servers and related hardware infrastructure.
- Follow manufacturer procedures and data center safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate service reports, equipment records, and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate defective equipment returns and replacement parts.
- Collaborate with remote engineering teams, vendors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Document all completed work and troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in IT field services, data center operations, or server hardware support.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, server components, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Experience replacing RAM, SSDs, HDDs, GPUs, power supplies, and other hardware components.
- Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.




- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, Ethernet cabling, and network connectivity.
- Experience working with server racks and enterprise IT equipment.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work with remote support teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional onsite presence.
- Must be available to work onsite in Merritt, BC, Monday through Friday.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a data center environment.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU servers or high-performance computing infrastructure.
- Experience with Dell, HPE, Lenovo, or other enterprise server platforms.
- Knowledge of server diagnostics, hardware monitoring, and component replacement.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, or equivalent technical certifications.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Rate: $30.00 CAD/hour

Work Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Full time, onsite position
