Overview

Our client, an expanding manufacturer. located in the Weston area requires a Credit and Collection Specialist to add to their team. The position will report to the Credit Manager and the candidate must have several years experience in Credit and Collections in a high volume business to business environment with either a manufacturer or distributor. Financial institutions, leasing, collection agencies are not suitable. Must have excellent excel skills. Community college or university accounting courses required. French an asset. Only those suited will receive a response.

Responsibilities:

- proactively contact overdue balance, document follow up payment commitments
- review aging reports and prioritize delinquent accounts
- investigate and resolve payment delays
- assist with credit applications,



refer decisions to the Credit Manager
- maintain accurate notes, collection records in the erp system
- communication with internal teams to minimize delays s while protecting their credit risk
- and informing the the Credit Manager
- assist with investigating discrepancies
- support ar aging reconciliation
- participate in process improvement and documentation
- may assist in other accounting areas

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
