We're expanding our team and looking to add a full-time and/or part-time Sterilization Assistant at Kelowna Endodontics. Enjoy a Monday-Thursday schedule, evenings and weekends off, competitive pay and benefits, and gorgeous lake views. All in the heart of beautiful Pandosy Village!

You'll spend your workdays in a fast-paced, patient-focused endodontic specialist clinic equipped with modern dental equipment and a small team of wonderful dental professionals. You'll be the person who keeps our instruments safe, our operatories ready, and our infection control standards spotless. No experience is required; training will be provided. Many people find this role to be an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the clinical side of dentistry, especially for aspiring dental assistants and hygienists.

Position Overview:

- Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday)
- No evenings or weekends

Position Responsibilities:

- Create a positive and lasting impression on our patients and team
- Clean, disinfect,



package and sterilize instruments and handpieces following the clinic's infection prevention and control protocols
- Operate and maintain autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners; run and record routine spore testing and sterilization logs
- Turn over treatment rooms between patients, including surface disinfection and setup for endodontic treatment and consultations
- Manage dental waterline maintenance, biohazard and sharps handling, and waste disposal
- Keep the sterilization area, operatories and equipment clean, organized and compliant
- Assist the clinical team as needed during busy periods

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

- Fluent in English (spoken and written) is a must
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following protocols consistently
- Comfortable working on your feet in a rapid-paced environment
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a vibrant personality
- Dedicated to supporting exceptional patient care
- Experience working in endodontics or with surgical instrument reprocessing is a plus
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
