Automotive Service Technician / 4th Year Apprentice – Full Time

Tired of working in a dingy old shop? Want to work in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility?

Journey Chrysler is looking for a full-time Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal preferred) or minimum 4th year Automotive Apprentice to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated self-starter who takes pride in their work. Compensation will be reflective of experience and Chrysler training levels.

You will be working on all makes and models in a rapid-paced dealership environment.

What Your Day May Consist Of

- Repairing or replacing mechanical components as required
- Inspecting engines, transmissions, and other components and running diagnostic tests to identify issues
- Performing repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Troubleshooting reported problems and resolving them in a timely manner
- Performing maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles
- Inspecting and changing fluids when required
- Providing consultation to service advisors on proper maintenance and preventative measures
- Keeping detailed logs of work performed and reporting any issues
- Assisting with other duties as assigned

What We Need From You





- Minimum 4th Year Automotive Apprentice (Red Seal Automotive Service Technician preferred)
- Ability to confidently inspect, diagnose, adjust, service, and repair a wide variety of vehicles
- Experience with front-end work, brakes, shocks, safety inspections, and wheel alignments
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including heavy lifting and being on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality workmanship
- Strong work ethic and ability to stay self-motivated
- Must have your own tools

Pay: $35.00-$38.00 per hour
