About Canoe Therapy
Canoe Therapy is a cooperative, multidisciplinary pediatric clinic offering Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counseling, and Behaviour Therapy. We take a family-centered approach, supporting the whole child in partnership with their caregivers, educators, and support networks.

About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Family Coordinator who is personable, professional, and passionate about supporting both families and our therapy team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and excels in both communication and organization. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a collaborative, team-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities

- Warmly welcome clients and visitors in person and by phone
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, gathering information and supporting intake
- Coordinate appointment scheduling across multiple therapy disciplines
- Match clients with appropriate therapists based on needs and availability
- Navigate challenges with a calm, solutions-focused approach




- Provide timely and accurate invoicing to clients
- Manage and maintain electronic medical records (EMR); familiarity with Jane EMR is considered an asset.
- Operate a multi-line phone system
- Support the clinic with a variety of administrative duties

Qualifications

- Experience in a similar administrative, client service, or healthcare role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Calm, positive, and professional demeanor
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable taking initiative and managing multiple responsibilities
- Conflict Resolution Skills
- Able to obtain a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays
