We are looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to lead core financial operations and support sound business decision-making in Markham, Ontario. This role is responsible for strengthening reporting accuracy, overseeing key accounting activities, and guiding budgeting and control processes across the organization. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, systems knowledge, and a practical approach to improving financial performance and compliance.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily and monthly accounting activities to ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and prepared in accordance with internal standards.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle by working with business leaders to develop plans, monitor variances, and provide meaningful financial insight.
- Manage accounts payable and payroll processes to support timely payments, proper controls, and reliable financial reporting.
- Review reconciliations, journal entries, and period-end results to maintain the integrity of the general ledger and related financial statements.
- Administer and optimize the use of financial platforms, including ERP and supporting accounting applications, to improve reporting efficiency and process consistency.
- Support audit and compliance requirements by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and maintaining strong internal controls.
- Supervise finance staff, provide direction on priorities, and encourage high standards of accuracy, accountability, and service.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures and contribute to finance-related system or process changes where required.
- CPA designation a must.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, accounting oversight, or a similar leadership role within a corporate environment.




- Strong knowledge of accounting operations, including general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and financial review practices.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and accounting software systems, with the ability to learn and manage multiple finance tools effectively.
- Proven ability to lead budget planning, analyze results, and present transparent financial information to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when reviewing financial data, controls, and process outcomes.
- Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate work across teams and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
