Subjects We're Hiring For

We are seeking tutors with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

- Mathematics: Grades 5–12, Functions, Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors
- Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and General Science
- English: Reading comprehension, academic writing, essay development and literary analysis
- Advanced Programs: IB, AP and university-level subjects

You do not need to teach every subject. We value tutors who demonstrate exceptional knowledge in their specific areas of expertise.

What You'll Do

- Deliver engaging, individualized tutoring sessions tailored to each student's academic needs.
- Explain complex concepts clearly and adapt your teaching approach to different learning styles.
- Support students with test preparation, assignments, examinations and foundational skill development.
- Identify learning gaps and help students build independent problem-solving skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Maintain professional, supportive relationships with students and families.
- Demonstrate punctuality, preparation, reliability and academic integrity.





What We're Looking For

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or have completed postsecondary education in a relevant academic discipline.
- Strong understanding of the subjects and grade levels you wish to teach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain challenging material in a clear, patient and engaging manner.
- Strong organization, time management and professional judgment.
- A genuine commitment to helping students grow academically.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous tutoring, teaching or academic mentoring experience.
- Familiarity with the Ontario curriculum.
- Experience supporting IB, AP or advanced high school students.
- Experience adapting instruction to students with different learning needs.
- Ontario teaching certification or teacher-candidate status is an asset, but not required.
