One of our clients is seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/ Fabricator to join their team in Duncan, BC.

Job Title: Welder/Fabricator

Location: Duncan, BC
Pay: $35–$40 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Night Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Responsibilities

- Perform welding tasks using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, technical drawings, and welding instructions.
- Prepare metal surfaces and materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components.
- Weld metal parts and components according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure proper strength, accuracy, and finish.
- Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting tools, and other workshop equipment safely.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on metal components as required.




- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects within deadlines.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Welder or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, or Stick welding.
- Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of metal preparation, cutting, grinding, fitting, and fabrication.
- Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and handling materials.
- Welding certification or relevant trade qualification is an asset.

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
