We're hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to run our mills and lathes.

Terms of Employment:
Permanent, Full-Time, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM), with prospect for overtime
Wage: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill

The Role
We're hiring an experienced machinist with a minimum of 10 years in the trade. You'll set up and run CNC mills and lathes, hold tight tolerances, and get quality parts out the door. You'll work alongside our existing machinists, learn how we do things, and earn your place on the floor through the quality of your work.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines
- Select tooling and plan machining processes for the jobs you run
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T;
- Edit programs, troubleshoot, and optimize cycle times and tool life
- Hold tight tolerances and verify parts with precision measuring tools
- Work on manual machines when the job calls for it
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop safety procedures

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of machining experience, with a strong CNC milling and turning background
- Manual machining background (lathe and mill), ideally the route you came up through before moving to CNC
- Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Mazak, or similar)




- Solid knowledge of tooling, speeds and feeds, and machining strategy
- Solid understanding of tolerances, GD&T;, and inspection methods
- Reliable, a good teammate, and willing to learn our processes
