Our client, a leader in the poultry industry, is currently searching for a Poultry Supervisor to report directly to the Senior Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and manage employees performance, attendance and conduct

Keep management updated regarding personnel needs, work related issues and safety concerns

Train and evaluate employees with respect to job duties as well as health & safety concerns

Investigate and deal with personnel needs as they arise

Gather and document flock information at the beginning of each shift

Conduct initial bird checks and walkthroughs of the evisceration and live end areas

Maintain accurate production and quality records, including red zone and live end reports

Interact with maintenance to facilitate effective MPIP requirements





Special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3+years supervisory experience working in a food manufacturing workplace

Lean manufacturing experience is a plus

Solid leadership and communication skills
