Montessori Academy of London (MA) provides something unique in London: high-quality traditional Montessori education that truly puts the needs of the child first. To support our students’ daily program, MA is seeking part-time lunch support at one of our Childcare and Early Years Act (CCEYA) licensed sites. The chance is a part-time role. Hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday 12:15-2:15pm and Wednesday and Thursday 11:45am-2:15pm (now through June 2027). There is also the possibility of supply work to cover staff absences for qualified applicants.

Child care experience, current First Aid and CPR-C and a valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check are required.

The ideal candidate has

- Early Childhood Education Diploma.
- Experience working in a daycare or school environment is preferred.
- Standard First Aid and CPR C.
- A valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check within the last 6 months.
- Maturity, responsibility, a friendly demeanour, compassion and patience.
- Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

- Provide a caring, nurturing environment for students in keeping with the Montessori philosophy and follow CCEYA requirements.
- Supervise Casa-age children during lunch and in the playground.
- Occasionally act as supply staff in classrooms.
