We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction General Laborer to join our client's team in Markham. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and general labour duties. Candidates must be comfortable working in a physically demanding setting and using common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

- Perform general construction duties, including digging trenches and site preparation.
- Assist with the installation of insulation and other building materials.
- Safely operate common hand tools and power tools.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, including debris removal and site cleanup.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and supervisors with additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

- Valid Working at Heights Certification is mandatory.
- Previous construction or general labour experience preferred.
- Experience operating common hand and power tools.




- Physically capable of lifting materials, digging, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

- hand and power tool: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- G Class Driver's License and reliable transportation (preferred)
