Overview
This position is part time:

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays each week, plus 1 full week Monday-Friday per month. This position will eventually become full time.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support in a medical office environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong front desk and communication skills plus EMR experience using Accuro.

Duties

- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Be fluent in English
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems - Accuro
- Collect patient information, including medical history and insurance details, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.




- Support the team by coordinating patient flow
- Possess excellent communication and orginazitional skills is a must to be successful in this position

Skills

- Proficiency in front desk operations within a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with Accuro systems; experience desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism.
- Previous experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
