Position Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct engineering design as part of a project team. This position comes with challenges and plenty of opportunities for career development on the international stage.

Experience and Knowledge:

- 3+ years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- Basic understanding of industrial electrical equipment and systems, including MV/LV transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and PLCs





- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (required)

- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards, including CSA and BCBC

- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings, and communicate technical information clearly

- Experience working on industrial projects with multi-million-dollar budgets and scope

Preferred Assets:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology

- Spanish language proficiency

- Experience with cable tray design and control wiring diagram development and drafting

- Strong understanding of electrical design and documentation standards

Domestic and international travel will be required to attend project meetings and provide site support.

Compensation will be commensurate with the successful applicant’s strengths and experience as measured by the above description.
