We are currently recruiting for Full Time or Part Time professional security officers to work at a high profile RCMP site in Chilliwack.

Fulltime staff are required to work 4 on 4 off, days, afternoon and graveyard shifts.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the security industry and eager to gain experience working directly with the RCMP.

Payrate: $22.97/hr

This position will require candidates to successfully undergo a RCMP clearance. The process time for this clearance if from 4 months+. We are able to provide temporary employment in the interim.

- Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public/working with law enforcement
- Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational skills
- Physically fit and assertive, including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
- Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills

Some of your responsibilities include:

- Performing exterior patrols




- Maintaining official visitor logs, count sheets, sign-in/out sheets
- Writing clear and concise daily logs and reports of all incidents
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations
- Provide first aid in a prompt, accessible, and appropriate manner
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site duties and safety standards

Your Must – Haves …

- Valid BC Security Licence
- Lived in Canada for minimum 5 years for clearance purposes and be a Canadian Citizen or have a valid PR
- OFA 1 or willing to obtain
- Class 5 Drivers Licence
