Rocky Mountain Pools and Spas is seeking an organized, customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department. We sell and service hot tubs, pools, swim spas and saunas, helping customers enjoy their investment long after the initial purchase.

This role brings together team leadership, daily scheduling, customer care and service operations. You’ll ensure our technicians have the information, parts and support they need, while keeping customers informed and service work moving from the first call through to completion.

What you’ll do

· Lead and support the service team: Set clear expectations, coach employees, coordinate training and build accountability.

· Manage scheduling and dispatch: Prioritize service requests, plan efficient routes and adjust schedules as urgent needs arise.

· Deliver excellent customer service: Communicate timelines, explain next steps and resolve concerns professionally.

· Oversee work orders: Ensure accurate job details, technician notes, estimates, approvals and timely invoicing.

· Coordinate repairs and warranty work: Work with technicians, manufacturers and suppliers to resolve issues and track claims through completion.

· Manage parts and inventory: Keep essential parts available and maintain accurate shop and service-vehicle inventory.

· Improve department performance: Monitor outstanding jobs, response times, repeat visits, labour use and profitability, all in line with the key performance indicators of RMPS.

· Coordinate across departments: Work with sales, installation and accounting to provide a consistent customer experience.

· Maintain protected, professional operations: Ensure equipment,



vehicles and work practices meet company standards.

What you bring

· Experience managing or supervising a service team, preferably in pools and spas, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repair or a related field.

· Strong organization and the ability to manage competing priorities.

· A practical, supportive leadership style with clear follow-through.

· Excellent communication skills and confidence handling customer concerns.

· Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively with technical staff.

· Experience with scheduling software, work orders, inventory and Microsoft Office.

· An understanding of estimates, service billing and department costs.

· A valid driver’s licence.

Pool and spa experience, Hot Spring product knowledge, and familiarity with pumps, heaters, controls and water care are assets. Candidates with strong transferable service-management experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and benefits

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications, with bonus and incentive opportunities available.
