About us
Design Sesh is a creative and marketing agency serving contractors and home service businesses. We film in office content for our clients (project walkthroughs, owner-led talking-head videos and B-roll) and turn it into social content and paid ads that bring them real jobs.
The role
You'll own our post-production from raw footage to published post. You'll edit client videos and ads, keep our content calendar organized in ClickUp, manage revisions and make sure every piece of content goes out on time. We're looking for someone who cares about the craft, stays on top of details and communicates without being chased.
Requirements (please don't apply without all of these)
- Adobe Premiere Pro. Your main editing tool, used professionally.
- A-roll and B-roll storytelling. You can take a talking-head clip and layered B-roll and cut it into a tight, engaging story for social media and ads.
- Basic motion graphics in After Effects. Text animations, simple titles, lower-thirds and similar.
- Hands-on ClickUp experience. You've used it in a real job to build tasks, manage content calendars and track statuses. "Willing to learn" isn't enough.
- Strong communication. You give updates without being asked, flag problems early and respond during working hours.
- Based in Canada, reachable and responsive between 9 AM–5 PM Eastern, Monday to Friday. You're not expected to work all 8 hours.
What you'll do
- Editing: edit all client content and the founder's personal brand content (up to 2 per week), including quick-turn edits as needed.
- Ad creatives: create ad variations by testing different hooks, intros, B-roll and formats, and repurpose existing footage into new ads.
- Revisions:
make revisions based on internal and client feedback, and track every request until it's done.
- Static design: create and adapt static graphics and ad creatives in Figma or Canva.
- Footage organization: after each shoot, sort A-roll, B-roll, selects, project files and final exports in Google Drive using consistent naming.
- ClickUp: manage the monthly content calendar, keeping tasks, due dates, links, notes and revision requests up to date.
- Flagging blockers: spot missing footage, approvals or information before they hold up a project, and coordinate with clients on the assets each video needs.
- Publishing: prepare approved content (captions, covers, tags, collaborators) and schedule or post it to clients' Facebook and Instagram through GoHighLevel or Meta, including reposting to Stories.
