Summer Sales Student

Overview

The Summer Sales Student supports residential sales and customer relationships through direct-to-door outreach, needs discovery, sales presentations and organized follow-up.

Representatives introduce residential pest control services to homeowners and help customers identify solutions that meet their needs.

This role offers practical experience in sales, marketing and business development while developing communication, negotiation and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

- Conduct door-to-door sales outreach in residential neighbourhoods, introducing services and building relationships with prospective customers.
- Deliver sales presentations explaining residential pest control services and their benefits.
- Ask questions to understand customer needs, present relevant solutions and address customer questions.
- Use negotiation and customer service skills to support productive conversations and complete sales.
- Assist with account management, business development and marketing activities.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in Salesforce and organize follow-up activities.
- Review sales activity and customer feedback to identify trends and share findings with the team.
- Participate in regular sales meetings, coaching sessions and professional development activities.
- Represent Vantage Marketing Canada and its service partners professionally.

Training and Development

Representatives receive practical sales training, ongoing coaching and opportunities to develop skills in:





- Sales presentations and communication.
- Negotiation and objection handling.
- Customer relationship management.
- Business development and marketing.
- Account management and professional development.

*Previous sales experience is an asset but is not required.

Summer Accommodation and Team Environment

Furnished accommodation is provided at no rental cost for the summer.

Representatives work alongside other students in a collaborative, performance-focused environment. Team activities, company events and sales competitions provide additional opportunities for engagement and development.

Work Schedule

The summer position runs from May through August 2027.

The role involves in-person residential sales activities, team meetings and ongoing training. The expected weekly schedule and working arrangements will be discussed during recruitment.
