We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a busy finance team. This position is suited to someone who takes a careful, organized approach to managing incoming payments, customer accounts, and billing records. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial information, support timely collections, and contribute to smooth day-to-day receivables operations.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and issue customer invoices while confirming that billing details are complete and accurate.
- Record incoming payments promptly and apply cash receipts to the correct customer accounts.
- Reconcile account balances by investigating discrepancies and resolving outstanding items.
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue balances and carry out collection activities with strong attention to detail.
- Maintain detailed receivables records in spreadsheets and internal systems to support reporting and audit readiness.
- Work with internal teams to address payment concerns, clarify billing questions, and support account resolution.
- Review aged receivables regularly and escalate high-risk or long-outstanding accounts when needed.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar accounting support position.
- Strong working knowledge of account reconciliation, cash application, and collections processes.
- Ability to manage commercial collections professionally while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking, analysis, and record maintenance.




- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial transactions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort working with financial systems and adapting to updated processes when required.
