Your Role

As part of our clinical team, you will:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
- Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visits.
- Perform dental radiography and other clinical duties within your authorized scope of practice.
- Follow infection prevention and control protocols, including instrument cleaning and sterilization.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment information as directed.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Keep treatment rooms organized, stocked, and ready for patient care.
- Work closely with the dentist and team to support an efficient daily schedule.
- Contribute ideas and participate in ongoing learning and practice improvement.

Qualifications

- Completion of a recognized dental assisting program.
- Current registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants and a valid practice permit, or eligibility to obtain both before starting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to quality patient care and ongoing professional development.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
