MediOne Physicians is hiring a Specialist Medical Office Assistant to support our dermatology specialists. This is an existing vacancy.

Pay: $19.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay paid with each paycheque.

Location: Our specialists may work across MediOne clinic locations, and the Specialist MOA must be available to work at different locations as required. Schedule and clinic locations will be discussed with you in advance based on specialist schedules and operational needs.

Schedule: Hours generally range between 10 and 30 per week, with hours and shifts varying based on clinic operational needs. Flexibility to work varied weekday, evening and weekend shifts is required, as our clinics can operate until 8:00 p.m. and weekend coverage may be required. The schedule and logistics will be discussed with you in advance.

About the role You will be the right hand of our specialist team and keep patient flow running smoothly. You will:

Triage incoming referrals and book patients in TELUS PS Suite

Prepare reports and handle calls, emails and faxes

Work closely with specialists and provide clinical assistance as needed

Complete paperwork and help manage inventory

Follow vaccine cold chain procedures

What we are looking for

Highly organized, able to follow detailed instructions, and strong at multitasking in a fast-paced environment

Adaptable to work varied weekday, evening and weekend shifts

Entry level is welcome. Prior healthcare experience is an asset,



and our clinic workflows and systems are fully learnable on the job

Medical Office Administration education or certification is an asset

Clear, friendly communication with patients and colleagues

Comfortable working in a busy clinic and assisting physicians

Reliable personal transportation and flexibility to travel between MediOne clinic locations as required
