Full-Time | Halifax, NS | Starting at $30/hour

We're hiring local workers to join our installation team for a major commercial glazing project in Halifax. We're looking for experienced commercial glaziers, as well as dependable construction workers with hands-on trade experience who are interested in commercial glazing. Whether you have experience installing curtain wall, storefront, and commercial entrances or bring skills from another construction trade, we'd like to hear from you. We're building a reliable installation crew and want people who take pride in their work, show up ready to work, and contribute to a safe, productive jobsite.

Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, your work may include:

- Installing commercial glazing systems, including curtain wall, storefront, windows, and entrances
- Assisting with the handling, positioning, assembly, and installation of glass and aluminum framing
- Measuring, preparing, and fitting materials
- Reading and following architectural drawings, shop drawings, and installation details, where required
- Safely operating hand tools, power tools, aerial lifts, and other jobsite equipment




- Working efficiently with other crew members to complete installations safely and on schedule
- Maintaining high standards of quality, workmanship, and jobsite safety
- Coordinating with supervisors and other trades on site
- Following project specifications and installation procedures

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in reliable, safety-conscious people who work well with others and take pride in doing the job right.

- Commercial glazing experience is a strong asset
- Curtain wall, storefront, and commercial window or door installation experience is preferred
- Construction, carpentry, aluminum framing, or other relevant trade experience is an asset
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew
- Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of construction work safely
- Commitment to quality workmanship, productivity, and jobsite safety
- Fall Protection, WHMIS, and Aerial Lift / MEWP certifications are assets
- A valid driver's licence is an asset
