The Role

We are looking for a reliable, versatile Skilled Labourer to join our team. This role splits time between our fabrication shop and field project sites. You aren't just doing one repetitive task here; you will be bolting up steel, rigging for crane installs, and working on quick-paced plant shutdowns.

Key Responsibilities

- Shop & Field Work: Shift smoothly between indoor fabrication shop duties and outdoor/site-based field work.
- Steel Installation & Assembly: Assist with structural steel installations, aligning, and bolting up heavy components.
- Crane Rigging:



Assist with rigging and signaling for crane operations during steel erection.
- Read drawings, measure and prepare material
- Plant Shutdowns: Work efficiently under tight timelines during industrial plant maintenance and shutdown projects.
- Tool Operation: Safely and proficiently operate a wide variety of hand and power tools (grinders, drills, impact wrenches, etc.).
- Operate bandsaw, CNC Laser, Press break, Telehandler
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in the shop and on site.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Previous relevant experience in construction, structural steel, welding/fabrication environments, or industrial labor is required.
- Tools: Proven experience and comfort using heavy-duty power tools.
- Transportation: Must have a clean driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to get to the shop.
- Physical Capability: Ability to handle heavy lifting, stand for long periods, work overtime and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid safety tickets an Asset: (CSTS, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, Confined Space, First Aid, forklift) are highly preferred but not strictly mandatory.
