Utopia Cafe Play is a family-friendly café designed to provide a safe and joyful experience for parents and children. We pride ourselves on high-quality food, beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations, including food and smoothie preparation, dishwashing, inventory tasks, cleaning, and assisting with food ordering and receiving. This role requires a commitment to maintaining exceptional hygiene, organization, and safety standards throughout every shift.

Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Kitchen Support

- Cook and prepare foods, ensuring meals meet quality standards.
- Maintain proper food handling and safety practices.
- Help receive and store food deliveries, keeping inventory organized.
- Support event operations by assisting with meal preparation, setup, and overall logistics.

General Kitchen Operations

- Follow cleaning routines to keep workstations and equipment sanitary.




- Dishwashing and proper storage of utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock.
- Responsible waste management.

Key Skills & Experience

✅ Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment preferred.
✅ Knowledge of food handling, safety practices, and sanitation standards.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
✅ Robust communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
