Overview

The Pharmacy Manager oversees pharmacy operations and supports safe, coordinated medication services. This role brings together medication administration, patient care, and explicit communication with the care team, helping patients receive appropriate support and colleagues make informed decisions.

Duties

- Coordinate pharmacy workflows and medication-related services, promoting accurate, timely support for patients and care teams.
- Apply medical terminology and medication administration knowledge when reviewing information and communicating about care.
- Collaborate with clinical colleagues to support patient needs, including those in acute care and pediatric settings.
- Maintain clear, accurate records and help ensure pharmacy processes are followed consistently.

Requirements

Required: Must be licensed by ACP. Must have authorization to administer drugs through injection. Practical knowledge of medication administration, patient care, and medical terminology, with the communication and organizational skills to coordinate pharmacy work and maintain accurate records. Preferred: Hospital experience and acute care experience, along with familiarity with pediatric care, are valuable strengths for supporting varied patient needs and collaborating effectively with clinical colleagues.

Pay: $67.00-$70.00 per hour
