Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, reliable, and responsible 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician with commercial electrical experience to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with commercial electrical installations, troubleshooting, and service work.

This position involves commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and new construction. The successful candidate will work well with a team, take pride in their workmanship, and complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently under appropriate supervision.

Responsibilities

- Assist with installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform electrical work on commercial renovations, tenant improvements, and new construction under appropriate supervision.
- Assist with installing conduit, wiring, lighting, panels, and distribution equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical plans.
- Follow the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable safety standards.
- Assist with diagnosing electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Work well with journeyperson electricians, fellow apprentices, and other trades to meet project deadlines.
- Demonstrate reliability through punctual attendance and consistent follow-through.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks, tools, equipment, and quality of work.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe work setting.
- Communicate professionally with client, coworkers, and project supervisors.

Qualifications

- Registered 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice.
- Hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction and renovations.
- Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures.
- Experience with conduit installation, wiring, lighting systems, and panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and follow direction.
- Reliable, responsible, hardworking, and committed to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to travel between job sites as required.
- Valid driver’s licence and must own vehicle.
