EVENING SHIFT - MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 3:30 PM TO 12:00 AM

$1.50/HOUR SHIFT PREMIUM

Responsibilities

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce quality metal components according to work orders, blueprints, and programmed specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a quick-paced fabrication environment.

Key Duties

- Review work orders to identify required materials and parts.
- Locate, measure, and verify material before cutting.
- Set up, calibrate, and operate Mitsubishi laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal components to specification.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure correct shapes, dimensions, and quality standards.
- Load and unload materials using manual handling methods or overhead cranes/hoists, as required.
- Label completed parts according to nesting software requirements.




- Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong basic math skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
