Wage: $17.12–$27.79 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)
Position: Inclusion Support Worker

We are looking for a caring, patient, and dependable Inclusion Support Worker to join our team!

The successful candidate will work closely with children who require additional support in the classroom, helping them participate in daily activities, develop social and emotional skills, and feel included in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide individualized, one on one support to children with additional developmental, behavioural, or learning needs.
- Support children with emotional regulation, communication, social interactions, and daily routines.
- Assist children in participating in classroom activities, outdoor play, and group learning experiences.
- Work alongside Early Childhood Educators to implement individualized support strategies and inclusion plans.
- Help children develop independence, confidence, and positive relationships with peers.
- Support positive behaviour guidance and assist with challenging situations in a calm and skilled manner.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with educators, management,



and families while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
- Valid Social Development (SD) Check.
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
- Experience working with children with additional support needs is considered an asset.
- Early Childhood Education training or related education is considered an asset.
- Strong communication, patience, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a busy childcare environment and respond appropriately to children's individual needs.
- Must be dependable, professional, and committed to supporting children's development and well being.
