Kashmiri Delight is looking for a Tandoor cook. Only the candidates with minumum 1 year of experience in Indian cuisine will be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a traditional Indian tandoor oven.
- Prepare and cook Indian breads, including naan, roti, and tandoori roti.
- Prepare and cook tandoori dishes such as tandoori chicken, kebabs, tikka, and other marinated items.
- Understand tandoor temperature control, cooking times, and proper cooking techniques.
- Prepare marinades, seasonings, and ingredients for tandoor items.
- Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff during busy service hours.
