Overview

As a casual Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker, you will provide respectful, practical support that helps individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence in their daily lives. You will adapt your approach to each person’s needs and preferences, communicate observations clearly, and work collaboratively with colleagues. Your impact: attentive, consistent care helps individuals feel supported and enables colleagues to coordinate daily care.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care and daily activities, providing compassionate caregiving and senior care.
- Support individuals with disabilities and people living with dementia, responding patiently to their needs and routines.
- Help with meal preparation, cleaning, and home care tasks to maintain a comfortable, orderly environment.
- Administer medications as directed and share relevant observations with the care team.

Experience





Required: Practical caregiving skills, clear communication, patience, and the ability to support daily routines, prepare meals, and maintain clean spaces. Preferred: Assisted living, nursing home, or home care experience; senior care, dementia care, experience working with individuals with disabilities, and medication administration are valuable strengths for this role.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
