Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design and Drafter to join our agile team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing electrical system designs, creating precise technical drawings, and supporting project execution from concept through construction. Your expertise will help ensure our electrical designs meet industry standards and client specifications while maintaining high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities

- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P &C; drawings, SLDs, panel and cable schedules, MCCs, switchgear, grounding, cable trays, electrical layouts and system layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to interpret design requirements and translate them into comprehensive drawings.
- Expert in designing and drafting electrical drawings in LV, MV and HV systems for various industry projects.
- Experience in as-built drawings and field walkdowns to update the drawings.
- Experience in writing and updating electrical drafting guidelines.




- Review construction documents and coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize Bluebeam for markup review, document management, and communication of revisions.
- Support field teams during construction by providing detailed drawings and resolving design-related issues on-site.
- Create accurate 3D models of electrical systems when needed

Requirements

- Proven experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Bluebeam for drafting and documentation purposes.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, system design, and electrical wiring practices in oil&gas; and energy industries.
- Experience working on construction projects and field walkdowns and as-building within the electrical engineering field is highly preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of NavisWorks or similar 3D modeling software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 16.0 per week
