Responsibilities:
- Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
- Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives
- Set, align and straighten tiles
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools
- Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout
- Install tile strips
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Perform related tile installation and finishing work
Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of related tile-setting experience
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending, crouching and kneeling
- Ability to work at various residential and commercial construction sites
- English
Pay: From $39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
Work Location: On the road
