Rivercrest Lodge Nursing Home is a 74-bed long term care facility with an additional 6 hospice beds located in Ft. Saskatchewan, approximately 30 minutes northeast of Edmonton, Alberta. We are currently looking for Casual staff to provide routine nursing home and personal care services to our residents in accordance with our established policies and procedures. All applicants must have completed an accredited health care Aide program.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide treatments and make referrals.
- Prevent or treat injury/illness.
- Complete initial and ongoing physical and psychological assessment of residents and patients.
- Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the provision of health care services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to evaluate the resident’s overall plan of care.
- Manage, administer, and allocate resources related to health services.
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current CLPNA registration.
- Experience in the area of nursing administration and/or long-term care is an asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team in a multi-disciplinary setting.
- Excellent clinical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Positive, gentle, and calm attitude.
