We’re Hiring!

We are currently looking to fill a full-time, permanent position for a Senior Manager, Sales & Procurement Finance in our Accounting Department at our Leamington office.

What You'll Do:

- Serve as the finance business partner to Sales and Procurement, providing timely analysis, recommendations and financial insight.
- Lead annual budgets and ongoing forecasts for sales revenue, purchased produce, packaging and other procurement costs in collaboration with department leaders.
- Analyze results against budget, forecast and prior periods; explain price, volume, product mix and cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare customer, product and channel profitability reporting.
- Evaluate pricing proposals, promotions, rebates and customer contracts to support profitable sales decisions.
- Monitor sales performance and margin trends; identify opportunities to improve pricing, product mix and customer profitability.
- Analyze purchased produce, packaging, materials and other purchasing costs; assess supplier profitability and the financial impact of sourcing decisions.
- Partner with Procurement to evaluate supplier agreements, purchasing commitments and grower settlement arrangements.
- Review grower settlements for accuracy and consistency with agreements, investigating discrepancies with the appropriate teams.
- Maintain inventory accounting records and reconciliations, including quantities, unit costs, valuation and related adjustments.
- Work with operational teams to validate inventory counts, investigate differences and support accurate inventory reporting.
- Prepare, maintain and reconcile produce revenue accruals, ensuring estimates are supported, recorded in the correct period and adjusted as actual information becomes available.




- Support the Corporate Controller with month-end close, including inventory and sales-related journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards and performance measures for Sales and Procurement.
- Work with the Corporate Controller to strengthen controls over inventory, revenue accruals, grower settlements and commercial financial data.
- Provide supporting documentation and explanations for audits relating to sales, procurement and inventory.
- Drive improvements in reporting, systems and processes to improve financial accuracy, efficiency and visibility.
- Communicate findings clearly and help stakeholders understand financial results and the implications of business decisions

What You Bring:

- University degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Progressive finance experience with demonstrated capability in sales or procurement finance, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, revenue accruals, month-end reconciliations and financial controls.
- Experience in fresh produce, agriculture, food or a comparable perishable inventory environment is an asset.
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to influence decisions and build effective working relationships across departments without direct reporting authority.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound judgment and very strong attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication, listening, organization and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing conditions.
- Commitment to continuous learning, confidentiality, reliability and ethical conduct

What To Expect:

- Meeting tight deadlines, particularly during month-end,



budgeting and forecasting periods.
- High level of responsibility and confidentiality regarding company and commercial matters.
- Working with various types of people in a team setting and independently; maintaining positive and open communication.
- The Senior Manager, Sales and Procurement Finance spends most of their time in the office and typically works about 40–50 hours per week, with Saturdays optional or as needed.
- Most of the role’s time is spent in the office. Attendance is required Monday–Friday, with Saturdays optional or as needed.
