We’re Hiring! Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) / Home Support Worker – Devon, Alberta

Gladlife Support Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable female Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) or experienced Home Support Worker/Caregiver to provide one-on-one respite and home support for a client in Devon, Alberta.

Due to the nature of the one-on-one personal home support and the client’s preference and comfort, a female caregiver is preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide companionship and one-on-one support
- Prepare simple meals
- Assist with grocery shopping and community outings
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with light household activities
- Support the client with maintaining daily routines
- Accompany the client on walks and assist with pet-related activities, including dog walking
- Promote independence, safety, comfort, and overall well-being

What We’re Looking For:

- Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) or experienced Home Support Worker/Caregiver
- Previous experience in home care,



respite care, senior care, or a related field
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s is strongly preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home
- Reliable transportation to Devon
- Flexible availability

Location: Devon, Alberta
Position: Part-Time / Casual
Pay: Competitive, based on qualifications and experience
