About the Client:

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a client who has experienced a traumatic brain injury with significant sensory impairments—half blind and half deaf, with the right side most affected. They use a walker or wheelchair for mobility and require daily support to maintain safety, dignity, and quality of life. The client needs supervision throughout the day due to cognitive challenges from the brain injury. English-speaking caregivers are required.

Responsibilities:

- Must be comfortable with delegated tasks from nurse for special mediaction administration duties
- Provide mobility assistance with walker/wheelchair for safe transfers and movement
- Support with personal care including bathing and dressing
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medication reminders and ensure proper medication management
- Perform light housekeeping and tidying to maintain a clean workplace
- Provide cognitive supervision and safety monitoring throughout shifts
- Offer transportation for medical appointments and errands
- Maintain clear communication with family members about care updates

What We're Looking For:

The ideal caregiver will have proven experience working with traumatic brain injury clients and sensory impairments. You should be calm, patient, and bring positive energy to each shift. We need someone reliable and consistent who takes initiative, communicates clearly with the family, and respects the client's independence while ensuring their safety. Specialized skills in mobility assistance, personal care,



and cognitive support are essential. A valid driver's license is required for transportation needs.

Schedule:

This is a backup/replacement caregiver pool for a client who receives care daily Monday through Friday, approximately 8 hours per shift between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Consistency is crucial—the family needs dependable coverage most days of the week, so backup caregivers are highly important.
