Job Summary

As a CASHIER NOC65100, you’ll support smooth retail transactions by assisting customers, processing purchases, and keeping checkout and merchandise areas organized. Clear communication and attentive service help customers complete purchases confidently and enable colleagues to maintain an efficient sales floor.

Duties

- Greet customers, answer product questions, and provide helpful, courteous customer service.
- Operate POS systems, process payments, handle cash accurately, and complete basic math for transactions.
- Support retail sales by describing products, demonstrating features, and identifying appropriate opportunities to upsell.
- Assist with merchandising, maintain an orderly checkout area, and coordinate with colleagues to keep service moving.

Skills

Required: Practical cashiering capabilities include POS operation, cash handling, basic math, transparent communication,



customer service, and time management. English skills support customer interactions, while organization and professional phone etiquette help keep transactions and inquiries on track. Preferred: Retail sales, technology sales, product demonstrations, and technical sales experience are advantageous; bilingual or multilingual communication can help serve a broader range of customers. Pay: $18.51-$19.00 per hour
