This PSW position is community visiting doing 1 hour visiting home to home in Beaverton, Cannington, Sunderland and surrounding.

The position is part time with a weekly schedule of fri, sat, sun and mon each week. Time frames are 8am-4pm for days OR 2pm-9pm for afternoons. You must choose one time frame only, we do not mix schedules.

This can also be done as a casual position with an every other week schedule. You would work every other fri, sat, sun and mon.

As this is community visiting position a drivers licence (G or G2), a reliable vehicle and car insurance in your name are needed to perform this job. We do pay 40 cents/km between clients for mileage and clients are grouped together as much as possible to minimize travel between.

Starting pay is $22/hr and does include the government wage portion.

Part time staff receive a $25 monthly phone allowance.

Casual staff receive a $15 monthly phone allowance but are not eligible for benefits.

Requirements:

Vulnerable Sector Police Check not over 12 months old





PSW certificate or international nursing degree

Valid CPR certificate

TB test results from within 12 months or chest xray from within 24 months

G or G2 drivers licence, a vehicle and insurance in your name

Must own a cell phone with data

Responsibilities:

Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living

Food preparation and/or assistance with feeding as required

Light housekeeping such as: dishes, folding laundry etc
