Overview

Genesis Security is hiring for AFA/OFA3 Security Staff to support secure, orderly event operations on a casual, on-call basis at different event venues across Metro Vancouver. Staff must be attentive and ready to respond to medical situations and help guests and event teams feel secure throughout their time on site.

Responsibilities

- Monitor event areas through active surveillance , noting and responding to medical incidents and activities.
- Patrol venue grounds to observe potential risks and following established event procedures.
- Respond calmly to security concerns, communicate relevant information to event security staff, and seek appropriate support when needed.
- Maintain awareness of guest movement and changing conditions, helping keep event spaces orderly and accessible.

Requirements:

- Valid B.C. Security Worker Licence
- Valid Advanced First Aid (AFA) or Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA3) certification
- Customer Service and security experience will be an advantage

Pay: $23.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 24.0 per week
