Overview

The Kitchen helper/cook supports daily meal preparation and food service, helping keep kitchen work organized and meals ready to serve. This hands-on role combines cooking, preparation, serving, and safe food handling in a collaborative setting.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and meals according to instructions, keeping work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
- Cook and assemble dishes, assist with meal preparation, and help maintain a steady flow of food service.
- Serve meals courteously, replenish items as needed, and coordinate with colleagues to support timely service.
- Follow food safety practices when handling, storing, and preparing food, and promptly communicate concerns.

Skills

Required: Practical food preparation, cooking, serving,



and food handling capabilities, with attention to cleanliness, safe work practices, and clear coordination during kitchen tasks. Preferred: Food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or familiarity with the food industry can help you contribute confidently and adapt to daily service needs. Pay: $17.00-$24.87 per hour
