Summary

As an Operative Purchaser - North America, you will support purchasing activities for Normet Americas, Inc. Your impact: Reliable sourcing and purchasing help colleagues access the equipment and materials needed to support mining and tunnel construction customers.
Responsibilities

- Process and manage purchase orders and supplier confirmations.
- Monitor deliveries and expedite outstanding orders.
- Maintain supplier relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support inventory replenishment and material availability.
- Identify local sourcing opportunities in the U.S. and Canada.
- Resolve purchasing discrepancies, shortages,



and supplier issues.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales support teams.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and ERP data.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain.
- Robust organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to support operations across North America.
- Knowledge of Canadian suppliers is preferred.
